Oceola will be hosting a limited entry modified service pistol shoot on March 8th at 9:00 until 12:00.
It will be at the indoor range at our clubhouse on McGowan Road. This event is free and open to any club member with a Valid OFGC membership and PAL. Space is limited to 16 participants and a slot must be booked in advance.
The shooter will require the following to take part. 1.) A handgun – semiautomatic or revolver in an as issued format in .45ACP, 9mm or .38spl/.357 mag calibres. 2.)At least 2 magazines or speed loaders. 3.) A minimum of 60 rounds of ammunition.
The course of fire is timed and shot in the prone, sitting/kneeling and standing positions. Holsters are not permitted to be used at this range. PPE ear and eye protection are mandatory. This will be a fun and safe event, so each shooter must have competent handgun handling skills to participate.
